Jinkx & DeLa: How the Queens Made Christmas

From RuPaul's Drag Race superstars Jinkx Monsoon and BenDeLaCreme comes a wild and wonderful illustrated holiday romp for festive adults! Hailed by Entertainment Weekly as the "reigning queens of Christmas," Jinkx and DeLa have captured the zany fun and mid-century modernist/pop art aesthetic of The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, their internationally acclaimed musical comedy, in a must-have holiday book. This charmingly irreverent celebration of the season follows the adventures of the two drag queens as they find themselves mysteriously trapped in a book--with only one way out: together!

Through quippy rhyming text and candy-colored illustrations, they slalom through the challenge of creating a winning Christmas story--dashing through double entendres and many costume changes along the way. Bright, bawdy, and heartwarming, this giftable book brings the subversive joy of the beloved queer holiday tradition into the homes of fans who can't make it to a tour stop or to anyone else who just wants to experience that very special Jinkx and DeLa cheer any time of year. Also available: The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Ornaments, a quippy Christmas book with 12 pop-out hanging ornaments!

A REAL TREAT: With flashy foil and midcentury modern illustrations, this is the perfect blend of camp and style to get you into the holiday spirit. Enjoy the bonus section of behind-the-scenes photos and lyrics from three of Jinkx and DeLa's witty and eminently singable original songs! Give this book as a unique gift or bring it along to a holiday party for some great fun.

TRUE TO POPULAR SHOW: Just as in the holiday stage show, this story follows the two best friends as they squabble through a holiday dilemma that spawns a series of hilarious solutions, complete with raunchy double entendres and multiple costume changes. By the end, they have reunited and learned a valuable lesson about found family, the value of traditions, and the power of community. NO ONE IS ALONE: The Holiday Show has become a staple holiday tradition for Jinkx and DeLa's fans, especially those in the LGBTQ+ community who often have a hard time with expectations of spending time with family at the holidays.

The show, and now the book, acknowledge that experience and answer it with humor, heart, and camp.
