Eclectic Recs No. 12
Hey, readers! My attention span is officially shot. Done. Kaput. Blame it on spring fever or parenting two kids who have spring fever or the literal spring fever we’ve been battling for two weeks. Whatever it is, it has broken my brain. I’m currently too busy landscaping my yard in between bouts of sneezing to do anything about my lack of focus, but eventually I need to get serious about recovering my brain cells if I want to finish a book.
For now, I am satisfied with little sips of short texts: novellas, poems, Substack articles. Today’s eclectic mix of recommendations features quick and easy reads to enjoy in the spring sunshine.
I hope they suit your attention span (be it sharp as a tack or more like limp noodles).
Anchor Texts Scheduling Note: I am pushing back our Part One discussion as I have no voice to record a podcast recap. We will still read the book together in May, just on a slightly more condensed schedule. If you were thinking of joining us, now is the time!
